Create an EAP for a Client
CaMS Integration

***At this time, we highly recommend initiating the process by creating a Client EAP within CaMS prior to importing the client’s data into ESCASES. We are working towards creating a user-friendly wizard that will seamlessly guide you through the EAP creation process within ESCASES, however it is still in development.

Follow these steps to create an Employment Action Plan for a client in ESCASES.

1. Open the client’s profile and navigate to the “EAP Details” tab.

2. Retrieve the client’s CA number from CaMS.

3. In ESCASES, insert the CA number in the “CA Reference Number” field.

4. Fill out the EAP details section and click “Submit”. Please do not add a “Subgoal” or “Planned Item” at this point.

***The Ministry kindly requests that you create an EAP detail shell and submit it to CaMS first, after which you may add your subgoals and planned items in ESCASES.

Adding a “Subgoal”

1. In the “Subgoals” section, click the “Add New” button.

2. Fill in your subgoal details and click “Submit”.

Adding a “Planned Item”

1. In the “Subgoals” section, navigate to the “Planned Items” section and click on the “Add New” button.

2. Fill in the details and click “Submit”.

Uploading Documentation

1. Click on the Cloud icon on the “Planned Items” card.

2. Choose where your file is stored.

  • Selecting the “Upload New File” option allows you to choose and upload a file from your preferred location.
  • By choosing the “Upload Existing File” option, a modal window will open with access to the client’s “Documents Archive” tab. This will display all documents saved in their archive.

3. When choosing an existing file, select a “Document Type” and the Document from the list provided, then click on “Select”.

Congratulations! You have successfully created an EAP, added a subgoal and planned items, and uploaded relevant documentation in ESCASES.
