Follow this guide to understand the Network Activity Tab in ESCASES.
*To view the Network Activity Tab, log into ESCASES. Then click the rotating arrows icon on the right side of the screen.
The Network Activity Tab shows you the progress of any activity between ESCASES and CaMS.
In a client’s profile, any changes you make to the brown tabs (Client Info, EAP Detail, Outcomes, and Checkpoints) need to be reflected in CaMS.
When you update the info in one of these tabs, you will see a message at the top of the client profile informing you that “CaMS is processing the update”. Once processed, the message will be replaced with one that says “Request processed successfully”.
You can still continue to do other work in ESCASES while the update request is being processed. This is where the Network Activity Tab comes in.
The Network Activity Tab will let you know if your recent changes have been synced to CaMS yet or not. It also lets you know if there are any issues with the update request.
At the top of the Network Activity Tab, you can check if the CaMS database is currently online or not. If CaMS is offline, none of your update requests will be processed. When CaMS is online, your update requests will be processed gradually.
You can see the progress of your updates under “Currently Active Updates”. They are divided into 4 categories, one for each of the client profile tabs that syncs with CaMS.
Sometimes a request may become stuck. If that happens, you can either remove the request, or try to restart it.
You can also see requests which are waiting for approval before they can be processed.
Update requests which have been processed successfully are removed from the Network Activity Tab.
